EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mildred has worked with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Services as a professional midwife and Public Health Nurse until her retirement, she was in charge of Reproductive Child Health Department under Hohoe Municipal Health Directorate.
As a professional nurse and midwife, Mildred also specializes in family planning services and sexuality education. Additionally, she does community outreach programs which include school health education, child welfare Clinics, immunization, Antenatal delivery and postnatal care, HIV/AIDS education, campaigning against early marriage, teenage pregnancy and testing and counselling for HIV/AIDS and mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS.
MAMACARE-Ghana is delighted to welcome Mildred as the new Executive Director of the organization.

Emmanuel is also a co-founder of the organization. He had worked with the organization since 1996 as a secretary to Programs Coordinator/ Administrator and rises up to a position of Programs Manager.
Today, Emmanuel is the new Programs Director of Mama Care-Ghana organization. He holds a Diploma in Business studies from a reputable private institution in Ghana.
He is very experienced in fund raising activities but not limited to organizing organizational training workshops and other programs.
He does both local and external fundraising for the organization. .

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING PROGRAMS

Training of traditional birth attendants (TBAs), Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Community Health Nurses (CHNs) in basic and safe Midwifery Practices. Since her retirement from Ghana Health Services (GHS) Charity has worked with the organization for 17 years bringing all her rich experiences on board.
She also specializes in Public and primary health care projects, community outreach programs on family planning, child welfare clinic, immunization. She also does sexuality education in basic and Junior High Schools.
She is a supervisor of traditional birth attendants, community health workers and community health nurses.
EVELYN BANSAH

EVELYN BANSAH

DOMESTIC BURSAR

Evelyn is responsible for catering services with the organization.
She prepares meals for trainees. Additionally, she supports in organizational outreach programs on family planning where she takes part in distribution of Condoms and educate her peers on danger of being a single mother, early child marriage, teenage pregnancy.
She had her training with a local Catering School in Ghana.
FRANK AHIAGBOR

ACCOUNTANT (PART-TIME)

He is responsible for preparing and keeping accounting records of the organization. Additionally,
Frank prepares annual income and expenditure accounts and present them to the organization’s Independent Auditors.
REGINA FAFALI NUKPOAFE

REGINA FAFALI NUKPOAFE

ADMINISTRATOR

Regina join the organization in 2016 as an Administrator.
She works two times a week with the organization. Her role is general administration. Beginning January, 2018, Regina will add additional role of Programs Coordinator.
Regina did her Office Management training at a private institution in Ghana.
She is conversant with training programs for community-based midwives, sexuality education and outreach programs.

We promote sexual and reproductive health rights for women and children and undertakes activities also in Gender equality, women and children basic rights, women economic rights, women empowerment health and educational infrastructure projects,in the Republic of Ghana.

We are registered with the registrar General’s Department of the Republic of Ghana and obtained a certificate of incorporation of a Company under the Companies Act 1963, Act 179 as a Limited by Guarantee
